| Abstract | The Mydidae of Chile are revised together with one species of the genus Mitrodetus from Argentina. Fourteen species are recognized, 4 of which are new to science: Apiophora guadricinctata n.sp., Mitrodetus nanoglossa n.sp., Mitrodetus vestitus n.sp. and Mitrodetus australis n.sp. Diagnostic features, geographic distributions and synonymy are given for each species, together with a key to the genera and species. |
